In September 2018, Katie once again qualified for the Boston Marathon finishing the 26.2 mile run in 3 hours 27 minutes.
This marks Katie’s fifth successful Ironman finish in a time of 11:39 in October 2017. She continued to support H2O for Life by raising funds for a school in Kenya and Uganda.
Eagle Up Ultra 24 Hour Run
In June 2017, after nineteen hours and 53 minutes, Katie placed 2nd overall female in the 100 mile distance. This finish marked Katie's third successful 100-mile run in less than a year.

Starting on New Years Eve and finishing on New Years Day of 2017, Spotz placed within the top ten overall female in the 100 mile distance.
the Northcoast 24-hour endurance run
In September 2016, Katie placed 6th overall female in the USATF 24 Hour National Championship Event covering 100.88 miles. Nearly 200 runners from 3 countries and more than 30 states competed in the race.
IRONMAN NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP TEXAS
In May 2016, Spotz finished her fastest Ironman with a time of 10:04. She raised more than $3,000 for a school in South Africa in support of H2O for Life.
In July 2015, Spotz took 1st place as the overall female winner in the Olympic distance race.
In May 2015, Spotz qualified for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:27 at Buffalo Marathon and placed 3rd in her age-group.
In August 2014, Spotz placed top ten in her age group with a time of 11:36. She raised the most funds as part the Ironman Foundation "Your Journey, Your Cause" team with more than $11,000 raised for schools in India in support of H2O for Life.
