Kasengejje Secondary School

Kasengejje Secondary School serves nearly 800 students but often goes without clean water because the connected reservoir frequently runs dry. On many days, students and staff turn on the tap and find nothing available for drinking, washing, cooking, or cleaning. To provide a reliable solution, a rainwater collection system will be installed on campus. The project includes a 10,000-liter storage tank and Sawyer Point One filters to ensure the water is safe to drink. This system will give students consistent access to the clean water they need to stay healthy and focused in school.

Ndejje Parents’ Infant School

Ndejje Parents’ Infant School serves 250 students but faces frequent water shutoffs despite having a piped connection. When water is unavailable, students must rely on a contaminated well or borrow from a nearby school. To provide a reliable solution, a rainwater collection system will be installed on campus. The project includes a 10,000-liter storage tank and Sawyer Point One filters to ensure safe drinking water. This system will give students and staff consistent access to clean water, even when the main supply is cut off.

Wakiso Secondary School for the Deaf

Wakiso Secondary School for the Deaf serves 250 students and staff but does not have enough water to meet daily needs. Their current rainwater tank often runs empty at least once a week, limiting water for drinking, cooking, and washing. To provide a reliable solution, a second rainwater collection system will be installed on campus. The project includes a 10,000-liter storage tank and Sawyer Point One filters to ensure safe drinking water. This addition will give students consistent access to clean water and better support their health and education.

Ogangai Kidetok Primary School

At Ogangai Kidetok Primary School, access to a well has transformed daily life for students, especially girls, who often spend hours fetching water for their families. With water available on campus, attendance rises and children can focus on learning. Installing the well is just the start—the H20 for Life team trains the community in simple repairs, provides tools, helps set up funds for maintenance, and checks in regularly. This ensures the well continues to provide safe, reliable water for years to come. With clean water on site, students can stay healthy, attend school consistently, and pursue their education with confidence.

St Kizito Maggya Primary School

In partnership with H2O for Life, this project improves water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in schools so students stay healthy and in class. With safe water nearby, children spend less time collecting water and more time learning, while better hygiene helps prevent illness & missed school days.
